From
Los Angeles take I-5 north through the San Fernando Valley, then
take I-14 toward Palmdale/Lancaster. This will ultimately merge
with I-395 past Mojave (near Ridgecrest) Continue up 395, through
Bishop. From I-395 take the Mammoth Lakes/Devil’s
Postpile exit (Rt. 203), which is about 45 miles past Bishop. Rt. 203 becomes
Main St. in Mammoth Lakes.
If you are picking up a key proceed about a half-mile past the
first traffic signal (Old Mammoth Rd.) and look for Paul Schat’s
Bakery. In the next building you will find Mammoth Reservations
(3325 Main St.). If the office is closed, there is a box for
keys and yours should be identified. Go back on Main St. (east)
and turn right on Old Mammoth Road.
Proceed south on Old Mammoth Rd. until you hit the next signal,
which is Meridian. Turn right. Head west on Meridian. You will
come to a traffic light at Minaret. Keep going straight. You
will pass the Sierra Star golf course on your right. As you approach
the end of Meridian, you will see some three story buildings
on your left. This is The Summit.
Turn left just before the 3-story building onto Villa Vista.
Go about 100 yards and turn right onto Holiday Vista. You are
now on the back side of the complex. Proceed a couple hundred
yards until you see the first entry into underground parking
(Conness Building). Go all the way to the rear to the last parking
spot on the left (277). If there are any parking spots with letters
(A, B, C, etc.), they are also fair game on a first-come, first-served
basis. You will spot a doorway to the rear of the parking garage
on the left hand side. This will bring you into the building.
You’ll go up two flights of stairs to reach the main floor.
Then keep going up the stairs to the second floor. Unit 277 will
be the first one on your right.
